Learn all about the artistic process involved in translating music into visual expression in the exhibition MUSIC TAKES SHAPE, which features the work of the Faroese multi-artist Heiðrik á Heygum.
HEIÐRIK’s work spans a wide range of media and forms of expression within the fields of visual art, film and music. This exhibition invites you to enter the artist’s workspace and studio and to go on a behind-the-scenes journey of his creative universe.
The exhibition was devised and designed by the theatre designer Sámal Blak and Heiðrik á Heygum himself.

The National Gallery is open from 11 am to 5 pm every day until 30 September. From 1 October, the museum is open Tuesday – Sunday from 1 – 4 pm.
