Nólsoyar Fire Brigade

Nólsoy Fire Brigade is one of the six stations within Tórshavn Fire Department. The station in Nólsoy is staffed by 12 people.

Tórshavn Fire Department provides assistance in cases of fire, traffic accidents, oil spills, structural damage, and drowning incidents.

If you encounter a fire or another emergency, call 112. When calling, provide your name, location, the site of the fire or accident, and the type of assistance needed.

The fire department also offers training in fire extinguishing and fire prevention. Schools and other groups can inquire at the station for more information.

Vehicle Transport

The fire department handles vehicle transport for both traffic accidents and general transportation.

One fire truck can transport passenger cars and small trucks up to two tons, while the other can carry larger vehicles up to ten tons. Additionally, it is equipped with an 18-ton crane.
